William Lawrence Neuman W. Lawrence Neuman is Professor of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He received his Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1982. He is the author of several well-received research methodology textbook and published in leading academic journals (American Sociological Review, Social Problems, Sociological Quarterly, Sociological Inquiry, Social Science Quarterly) on a range of political sociological issues. He is a University of Wisconsin-System Teaching Fellow, won his universitys Outstanding Researcher Award, and is listed in Whos Who in America. He has received numerous grants to carry out curriculum innovations and instructional projects.
