William K LeutzBorn and raised in Toledo Ohio, Leutz graduated from The University of Toledo in 1965 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Following graduation, his professional career exposed him to a great deal of travel, ultimately providing the opportunity to isit all fifty states and nearly forty countries on five continents. During this career, he moved often, including ten years living in Norway. It was at this time that he started writing and exploring the world of poetry. Upon returning, to the United States in 1987, he settled in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After retirement in 2004, he spent time volunteering and serving as an officer with the Tulsa Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, serving as a docent at the Nature Conservancy's Visitor Center of the Tall Grass Prairie Preserve, and also at the Thomas Gilcrease Museum of American History and Art. In 2013, after the passing of his wife, he rebuilt and returned to his family's old summer home on a small lake in southern, Michigan. This is her third book. His interests, other than writing, are history, genealogy, and photography. Read More Read Less
