William CrispA Virginian, graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, William Crisp served as a lieutenant, rifle platoon leader, 1st Battalion (Airborne) 8th Cavalry Regiment, First Cavalry Division (Aimobile) during the Vietnam conflict. Subsequently, as a US Foreign Service Officer, he was posted to Zagreb, Croatia, then Yugoslavia. He then worked for the next twenty-five years as an East European business specialist for the Economist Intelligence Unit based in Vienna. Five of his 'thriller' novels and three nonfiction books, including two cookbooks and his Air Assault Sharing Military Experience, have been published.
