William C HoodWilliam C. Hood (1922-2014) was Professor of Economics at the University of Toronto from 1946 to 1964 before moving to Ottawa. Between 1964 and 1979 he held a series of senior public service positions including Advisor to the Bank of Canada, then Assstant Deputy, Associate Deputy and finally Deputy Minister of Finance for the Government of Canada.
