Willemien Du PlessisJulio César Villano graduated as a Lawyer in the Law School of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in 1986, attending then a series of studies and two post-graduate courses, specifically, in environment. He has more than twenty-five years of rofessional experience in corporate consultancy as a legal environmental adviser for private enterprises, NGOs, public and environmentalist agencies. He was a member of the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) for more than ten years. He was awarded with a Post-Graduate Research Scholarship from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) to investigate environmental and international law matters. He held the positions of legal adviser and legal attorney of shipping companies, namely the main Latin American shipping oil company and COCA COLA FEMSA de Argentina among other corporate organizations. He also advices at the department of environmental control at the port of Buenos Aires. He is the founder of the law firm Estudio Villano - www.estudiovillano.com since 1994 and is co-coordinator of the Legal Advisory Committee of the Argentine Port Board, where he has rendered professional advice on environmental, insurance and environmental regulation matters applicable to port activities. Before graduating as a lawyer, Julio César was assistant professor in the course at the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in the 'Legal Regime of Natural Resources'. Since 1986, he has worked as a professor in the aforementioned School of Law (in the past he held the position of acting professor at university and in post-graduate courses) and in other subjects.
