Wilhelm L KriessmannWilhelm L. Kriessmann was born in 1919 in Carinthia, Austria and grew up in the turbulent times between the two world wars. As a bomber pilot in the Luftwaffe, his service included 93 missions on the Eastern front. After the war, he completed his Ph.. and went to work for the Austrian Trade Ministry in Vienna. A hard worker with creative ideas, he was soon promoted to Trade Commissioner for the US West Coast. He remained living in California with his wife and children.
