Wiley BrooksWiley Brooks began his career as a journalist. He worked for a number of daily newspaper. He was executive editor of a Pennsylvania paper nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. Seeing the handwriting on the wall about newspapers, he left the news business fr public relations. He formed a PR firm that specialized in crisis communications, handling major crises up and down the West Coast. In 2003, he added writing workshops to his services. He still offers workshops to business and other groups on how to write more clearly and concisely. While he still does writing workshops, today his focus is on writing novels. Wiley is married to Marianne Bichsel, a corporate vice president for external affairs for a large company. They have three adults children, though one is still in college, and two grandchildren.
