Brower & Associates, a management consulting and training firm. Dr. Brower is a formermember of the U. S. Air Force and an executive with Bell Telephone Laboratories and AT&T, where he held numerous line and staff positions. He has consulted and trained for clients such as the AT&T, The University of Memphis, DuPont Pharmaceuticals, Dow Chemical Company, U. S. Veterans' Administration, Raleigh News and Observer, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U. S. Postal Service, National CASA and Illinois Youth Advocacy Programs. He also has been a guest lecturer at Fayetteville State University, University of Michigan, North Carolina Central University and Webster University, and a visiting professor with the National Urban League's Black Executive Exchange Program (BEEP). He is also a certified high school Business Education and English teacher and is the founder and president of the Institute for Youth Development & Educational Resources (IYDER), Inc., a non-profit organization that provides training for students at-risk of academic and personal failures, and for educators who are struggling to understand and reverse academic underachievement among disadvantaged students.
