Wesley Allen RiddleWesley Allen Riddle is a soldier, scholar, statesman from Houston, Texas. He graduated with honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1983 having concentrated in National Security and Public Affairs. He graduated with Distinctio from Oxford University, UK in 1993 with a Master of Philosophy degree in Modern History specializing in American politics. A combat veteran, he spent twenty years in the U.S. Army and, at the time of his retirement as Lieutenant Colonel, served at Fort Hood, Texas on III Corps Staff as Chief of the Air Defense Element. He ran for U.S. Congress twice (2004 and 2012) in Primary races as a conservative Republican. He worked overseas as a defense contractor in Saudi Arabia for a total of 13 years, alternating with stints as a college professor teaching U.S. History and Government. In 2016 he supported President Trump and was considered for the position of U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia by the Administration.
