Welles Treat BrandriffWelles Brandriff was a lifelong native of Connecticut in the United States. Early in life his ambitions were both to write and play the piano. It was as an officer in the Air Force during the Vietnam era that he developed a passion for aviation. Year later a conversation at a dinner party with a former WASP (Women Air Service Pilots) inspired him to write about these brave and mostly forgotten women. Mr. Brandriff held an MBA and a master's in education.
