Wanda BurseWanda Burse began her career path as a primary school teacher with the Lambton-Kent District School Board in Ontario, where she worked for thirty years. She now serves as an Ordained Minister in the four-point Rural United Pastoral Charge in the sameregion, and also as a chaplain at the Blenheim Community Village Long-Term Care facility. Both career paths encouraged an enduring love for reading and writing. Inspired by the beauty of nature, she published a book of poems, titled On Hallowed Ground, in 2013. Parallel Journeys is the brave product of professional and personal experiences, encompassing both her work as a chaplain with the elderly, as well as the role of caregiver she took with her ailing mother.
