Walther Herman LysneWalther Herman Lysne, D.C., was born in 1897 and died in 1983 at age 86. He was a chiropractor, artist and author of the first version of this manuscript. He collected these stories from his grandparents and his aunts, uncles and father. In addition e created many paintings, sculptures, and wood carvings. This book was a focus of his creative work for more than twenty years. The stories are true with a narrative non-fiction focus developed by him and many years later by his granddaughter Robin Lysne.
