Vladimir Hernandez
Vladimir Hernandez (Havana, 1966). He studied engineering and physics, but has devoted his entire career to writing. He published his first book, Nova de cuarzo, in 1999, and his first anthology, Horizontes probables in Mexico tht same year. In 2000, after being nominated to the UPC award in the fantasy genre, he traveled to Spain and decided to move to Barcelona.
He has been highly awarded for his works —Manuel de Pedrolo, Alberto Magno—, and recently his first novel in the black genre, Indómito has won him the prestigious International Award to Black Novel L'H Confidential.
