Virginia BadlerVirginia Badler is an archaeologist with a BA in Art History from the University of California Santa Barbara in 1970 and an MA in History of Art from the University of Toronto in 1972. She worked on her Ph.D. dissertation in Near Eastern Archaeology t University of Toronto characterizing the Late Uruk Period at Godin Tepe, Iran. Her observations of residues in the Godin Tepe pottery led to direct evidence for wine and beer production around 3200 BC.
