Counted is a faculty affiliate of Harvard University's Human Flourishing Program and a fellow of the International Society for Science and Religion. He serves as associate editor of the Journal of Positive Psychology and editor of Springer's Religion, Spirituality, and Health book series. Counted has authored over seventy peer-reviewed scientific and scholarly publications that examine the psychological processes--social, spiritual, environmental--that shape human flourishing across cultures.
