Vicki BismillaVicki Bismilla was born and raised in apartheid South Africa. Her grandfather was indentured by the British Raj in Muzaffarnagar, India and arrived in South Africa as a sugarcane labourer in 1883. Vicki and her husband arrived in Toronto as young uniersity graduates in 1970. Vicki has been an educator in the Greater Toronto Area for over forty years serving as teacher, principal, superintendent of schools and academic vice-president of a college.
