Venasta D ParsonsVenasta was born and raised in Knoxville, TN and endured life as a foster child. She was blessed to be the mother of the "fantastic four", two sons and two daughters. She was a proud, United States Army Veteran and a born again Christian; not religios but relational. Venasta decided to write this book after becoming a Guardian Ad Litem, Court Appointed Special Advocate for the states of Georgia and Florida. She thought about how her experience would make kids who she was assigned to feel more at ease and comfortable as she built and laid a foundation of trust. Venasta started journaling in 2014.
