Van Claudia SeverenClaudia Van Severen obtained a Master of Law degree at Ghent University Law School in 2010. After having completed her three-year traineeship, she was admitted to the Ghent Bar in 2013. Currently, she works as a civil litigation attorney at Evrest law firm. Since 2013, she also works as an academic assistant at the Ghent Law School, in the framework of which she teaches (practical) courses on civil procedure. She has written on a variety of topics regarding civil procedure in specialised Belgian law journals, and is a member of the editorial board of the Civil Procedure Monographs, within the International Encyclopaedia of Laws since August 2014.
