Val GreatheadVal Greathead grew up near Halifax in West Yorkshire. She worked as a costume designer for Tyne Tees Television and Central Television before joining the Arts University, Bournemouth, where she became head of the School of Performance. During this peiod, she contributed to books on costume and fashion illustration and on learning and teaching in higher education.
