Uwa HunwickI am a retired lecturer in the Performance Arts, a songwriter of more than 200 songs, a singer with a music album, a visual artist, a playwright, an author and mother of three. A widow of the world renowned historian, John Owen Hunwick of North westen University, Illinois. My works in the above disciplines, have a common theme - my conceptions of the real purpose for all existence, as gathered from experiences and lifetime observations of both man and nature. I am eighty-two! My musicals and dance dramas represented my country of Origin in world Theatre Festivals, in the USA, Brazil and Venezuela. I won prizes in local art and drama competitions. My books include "Monkey on the Tree" a play on apartheid, ("The Black Star", "Daybreak In Jebana"- musicals awaiting publication) I am completing an audio book entitled "Why Donald Trump" an anthology of 253 poems on the endemic bewildering affairs of mankind with all the political, economic, social and moral nuances and their spiritual consequences suggesting solutions.
