Umberto TecchiatiMaurizio Battisti is archaeologist at the Rovereto Civic Museum Foundation, where he coordinates the prehistoric sector of the archaeological department. He is a specialist in alpine archaeology, with particular reference to the Bronze Age in the Adie river valley, with several publications on the topic and ongoing projects in collaboration with the Superintendence for Cultural Heritage of the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Trento Science Museum (MUSE), and the universities of Trento, Milano, Verona and Padova. Umberto Tecchiati is Associate Professor of Prehistory and Protohistory and Prehistoric Ecology at the State University of Milan. Previously he was a museum curator and an official of the Superintendency of the Province of Bolzano-Alto-Adige.
