Growing up, he was heavily involved in sports, and attended and graduated from seminary at Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia. He is a retired Immigratio Officer/Canadian Border Services Officer, currently living in Langley. He has overcome addiction and homelessness, reclaimed the gift of his inner spirit, and now writes and speaks about it, inspiring audiences of all ages.
