Tracey J BatesonFor Tracey Bateson, becoming 'collared' was a surprise, and her joining the Army was even more of one. Jack, her husband, was a tremendous support and encouragement as he quite literally accompanied her around the world. Tracey enjoyed every minute o serving with 26 Royal Artillery in Germany (during which she was deployed to Iraq) and the 1st Batallion of the Royal Regiment of the Fusiliers. During this time John, their son, was born. Tracey then re-entered parish Ministry as a Bishops' Missioner and Priest for a few years, during which time Jack started at theological college himself.
