His has had many exciting assignments including: Forward Air Controller, Southeast Asia (535 comba sorties) Squadron pilot, Armament Test Wing Eglin AFB FL Flight Safety Officer and aircraft accident investigation expert Operations Officer PQM-102 (Drone) Squadron, Holloman AFB NM F-106 Pilot, McChord AFB, WA Officer in Charge Component Repair Branch, McChord AFB, WA Faculty Instructor, Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell AFB AL Director of Readiness, Alaskan Air Command, Elmendorf AFB AK Squadron Commander, Aggressor Squadron, Elmendorf AFB AK Base Commander, Galena AFB AK Staff Officer, NORAD (Counter Narcotic Division Chief and Chief of Plans and Logistics) Deputy Chief of Staff NORAD. Tom also spent 15 years as a Aerospace defense contractor consultant and continues to lead the of a lay Christian ministry program for 25 years at his local church.
