In 2006, he created his own company, Savanta Inc., an entrepreneurial enterprise focused on working collaboratively to create more positive and meaningful outcomes. In early 2019, Tom sold Savanta. After being diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer, he entered into a life-changing process of reflection fueled by his diagnosis and treatment.
