Tim AllisonDr. Allison is Machinery Dept. Director at Southwest Research Institute(R) where he leads an organization focused on R&D for the energy industry. His research experience includes analysis, fabrication and testing of turbomachinery and systems for advnces power or oil & gas applications including high-pressure turbomachinery, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, expanders, gas turbines, and test rigs for bearings, seals, blade dynamics and aerodynamic performance. Dr. Allison holds two patents, has authored four book chapters, co-edited two books and published over 79 articles on turbomachinery topics. He received the best tutorial / paper awards from the ASME Oil & Gas Supercritical CO2 Power Cycle Committees in 2010, 2014, 2015 and 2018.
