Thurai RahulanThurai Rahulan obtained his first degree in Mechanical Engineering Science in 1979 and his PhD in 1984 from the University of Salford. He commenced full time employment in March 1983 designing aircraft control systems funded by the Ministry of Defenc followed by a few years developing advanced suspension systems at Jaguar Cars Limited in Coventry.
