ThompsonCornelia Cattell Thompson (1898-1982) was a teacher of elementary school and a piano teacher, and a dealer in antiques. And most importantly she served as the wife of a country doctor, Jay Ira Thompson, MD in the country town of Smithfield, Ohio in te early 19th Century. She was also a writer of children's books, articles, and the author of The Country Doctor's Wife, now published by The Historical Society of Mount Pleasant, Ohio and by Bottom Dog Press (2021).
