Thomas WernerTHOMAS WERNER CRAFTED HIS FIRST short story at age 7, a tale of a scuba diver battling a whale that thrilled teacher and classmates alike. Reading and writing were an essential escape to young Thomas. He reveled in the works of Vonnegut, Steinbeck, Mrrison, Heller, Adams, Lee, Roth, and Baldwin. Through his writing, Thomas celebrates those authors and many others who shaped him. In so doing, he speaks to the lonely, the confused, the outcasts. He wants to make them feel welcome and accepted. Most of all, he wants to make them laugh, especially at the darkest parts of life. Thomas lives in Michigan with his wife and two teenage children. Aside from writing, he lives for his small, close circle of family and friends, reading, golf, and his three young cats. Read More Read Less
