Thomas GriesProfessor Thomas Gries, director of the Institut für Textiltechnik (ITA) of RWTH Aachen University, Germany, has been awarded an honorary professorship by Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) in lieu of his extraordinary scientific achievement in he development of fibre-based composites.
