Terry PhelanTerry Phelan graduated from Michigan State University and earned her MFA in English from Mills College. She has published numerous feature articles and essays in the San Francisco Chronicle and the Pacific Sun. Her poetry has been nminated for a Pushcart prize and has appeared in publications including RATTLE, Runes, Mudfish, the Marin Poetry Center Anthologies, poemmemoirstory, Not What I Expected: the Unpredictable Road from Womanhood to Motherhood; and Red Rock Review. A working mother of three, she is former Chair of the Marin Poetry Center, and currently serves on the Steering Committee for the Marin Poet Laureate.
