Different photographers show their view of the metropolis of New York.
They lived in the city at different times, each with a different background and
an individual style of visual language. The unique black and white photograph
by photographic icon Elliott Erwitt meet impressive contemporary testimonies by
the well-known photojournalist Thomas Hoepker. Atmospheric imagery by bad
weather photographer Christophe Jacrot is juxtaposed with Alan Schaller's
unusual cityscapes that play with light and shadow.
