Ted SpikerTed Spiker, a contributing editor to Men's Health magazine, is also a freelance writer who specializes in health and fitness writing. His work has been published in Outside, Fortune, Women's Health, Prevention, Runner's World, In Style, Cooking Light Cosmopolitan, Adventure Sports, and many other publications. Ted is also coauthor of numerous books, including You: The Owner's Manual and The Abs Diet. A former articles editor of Men's Health, he was also editor and assistant editor of Delaware Today magazine. Ted is currently an associate professor in the Department of Journalism at the University of Florida, where he has been teaching since 2001. He has also taught at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania and at the University of Delaware. He earned his master of science in journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and his bachelor of arts in communication and English-journalism from the University of Delaware.
