Ted MooneyTed Mooney (1951-2022) was an award-winning author and the senior editor of Art in America, a position he held for more than thirty years, and subsequently taught writing at Yale University. His speculative fiction novel Easy Travel o Other Planets received the Sue Kaufman Prize for First Fiction by the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters, and was also a finalist for the National Book Award (at the time, the American Book Award).
