Ted George GoertzelTed George Goertzel, a son of Mildred and Victor, has continued the family tradition of studying people, particularly as they are involved in social or political change. He has published six books and numerous professional papers primarily concerningsocial movements, generational conflict, and social class and political attitudes. Ted currently is professor and former chairperson in the Department of Sociology at Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey. He received his B.A. degree from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio with a major in sociology and anthropology. Both his M.A. degree in sociology and Latin American studies and his Ph.D. degree in sociology were awarded by Washington University in St. Louis.
