Ted BaileyTed Bailey was born in Essex during the Blitz. He has taught in inner city schools, administered an Essex Youth and Adult Centre, taught in colleges and universities and completed a research Doctorate. His last job was training teachers in the post-shool sector. Since then, he has combined his interest in history with a long-held desire to write and has authored several books across different spheres, including one about his unique dog. He spent his early years living in the very neighbourhood that is the setting for this story.
