Tatiana A KaminskyTatiana A. Kaminsky, PhD, OTR/L, received her Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Madison, Wisconsin, and her Master of Science in rehabilitation medicine and Doctor of Philosophy in nursing sciencefrom the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington. She has been a clinician for more than 25 years providing services to adults, especially those with neurological disorders, in a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. She has also worked as a low vision therapist in a hospital outpatient setting and a low vision clinic where she partnered with optometrists. Her current clinical work focuses on home- and community-based care. Dr. Kaminsky taught full time in the School of Occupational Therapy at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, from 2005 until 2021 and continues to teach in an adjunct capacity. The courses she has taught have primarily focused on neuroscience and the treatment of adults with neurological disorders. Her research has focused on people with visual and/or cognitive deficits.
