TARECE JOHNSONDr. Tarece Lynette Johnson is a Black Jewish woman. She has two children, Hannah & Nile. She grew up in Houston, Texas and at the age of 18, she moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico to attend La Universidad del Sagrado Corazon. In 1998, she relocated to Ne York City to attend Columbia University's School of International & Public Affairs. She later earned an MBA from Emory University and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management with a focus on multicultural and multilingual education. Dr. Johnson's professional experiences include various leadership roles in diversity, multicultural education, community development, business development, entrepreneurship, and marketing. Her love of teaching and mentoring children from around the world inspired her to create The Global Purpose Approach. The Global Purpose Approach is a resource guide designed to ensure that students acquire the knowledge, attitudes, and skills they need to become effective, respectful and empathetic global citizens. Dr. Johnson's purpose in life is to make a difference in her family, community, nation, and the world through her commitment to education, culture, diversity & inclusion, multilingual learning, equity & social justice, and love.
