Takesha PowellTakesha Powell (1973- ) was born in Suffern, New York. Always having enjoyed writing, she won her 1st County-wide playwriting competition in the 6th grade. From that time on, she has written for numerous magazines, including "Honey" "Black Elegance" nd "The Aquarian Weekly". She later went on to serve as Editor-in-Chief of "True Confessions" (Jive/Intimacy) magazines in New York.She was awarded a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master's in Adult Education.
