Tabitha JenkinsTabitha Jenkins, from Gainesville, FL has had a life-long passion for children and reading. Since she was a young child, Tabitha has enjoyed writing stories and poetry. As an adult, Tabitha has been continually inspired by the people, especially the hildren, from the small town where she grew up. Seeing a lack of books in her community that displayed African American children in relatable circumstances, Tabitha was motivated to create a collection of children's books dedicated to the wonderful children in her hometown of Alachua, FL. The stories are aimed to stimulate imagination in young readers while building pride for their community.
