Sylvia PetterVienna born Australian Sylvia Petter trained as a translator in Vienna and Brussels. Work as a translator for the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, the forerunner of the OSCE, was followed by a career in telecommunications policy withthe International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva. Founding member of the Geneva Writers´ Group, she holds a Ph.D. in Creative Writing from UNSW (2009). She is a member of the Australian Society of Authors, the Geneva Writers' Group, and GAV, Vienna.
