Suzie SternI was born and raised in Montreal. Though I moved away over twenty years ago, I still refer to Montreal as home. Currently, I live in Toronto and practice Family Law with an emphasis on representing survivors of domestic abuse, and children. Many of he children that I represent are living in foster care, group homes or on their own. I deeply cherish my childhood memories and I am very thankful to my family and friends for their unconditional love and support. It is a joy to be married to my husband and I am grateful to him for co-creating our home which has offered me my most valuable role, that of being a mother to two wonderful girls. It is my privilege and passion to have discussions with my own kids and my child clients that encourage them to think about their inner world. As such, I have written a children's book collection called "The Home Within You." The book collection codifies the lessons I impart on my children so that they may look inward and feel at home. It is my greatest hope that this book collection helps our children build a strong sense of self-awareness, self-esteem, and resilience.
