Susan R LawrenceSusan grew up on a small farm in the heart of Iowa. As a child, she learned to love country life, writing stories, and her Savior, Jesus Christ. She graduated from Kansas State Teacher's College and taught special needs children for thirty-three year before retiring to devote more time to writing, speaking, and storytelling. She has published two family devotion books, contributed to three anthologies and written many articles for various Christian publications. Her first novel, Atonement for Emily Adams, was released May 2014, the second one, The Blue Marble, in March 2016, and her third, The Long Ride Home, was published in December 2017. Shepherd of eSwatini was published in the fall of 2019 and Restoration at River's Edge in December, 2019. Her newest novel, Flight of the Red-winged Blackbird released March, 2022. Susan lives with her husband, Gary, the love of her life and her best friend of forty-nine years, and their crazy Lab pup, Maggie, in Des Moines, Iowa. She is the mother of three and grandmother of seven beautiful and brilliant grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with family, hiking and biking, and traveling.
