Suresh SundaramurthySuresh Sundaramurthy is a faculty member and former head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MA-NIT) Bhopal, in India. He is a recipient of the IUSSTF Post-Doctoral Fellowship awardedby the government of India. He has supervised nine PhD students, 55 MTech students, and 150 BTech/project students. He has published more than 100 research publications in the following areas: new sorbents and catalysts, reactor design, environmental biotechnology, waste-to-energy, decarbonization, energy transition, nanoengineered materials, technical textiles, gas separation, sensing of toxic gases, process safety, and hazard and disaster management. He has also published two Indian patents and is involved in the development of three international book series and has published more than 22 book chapters and six edited books and proceedings.
