SupergroupSuperGroup is the Minneapolis-based performance collaboration of Erin Search-Wells, Sam Johnson, and Jeffrey Wells. Since forming in 2007, SuperGroup has created a variety of performance work, including full-evening dance / theater pieces, durationalencounters in public spaces, and short queer cabaret performances across the Twin Cities and nationally. SuperGroup's work has been supported through commissions from the Walker Art Center, Red Eye Theater, and the Southern Theater, and grants from the Jerome Foundation, the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, and the Minnesota State Arts Board. They received a McKnight Choreography Fellowship in 2017.
