Nanny Buss read, made up, wrote and drew fantastic stories, she always had time to play; spending hours with the cousins making p stories to cheer them up, make them laugh or just to entertain, she was the best nanny! She made great sandcastles and the author has very happy memories of caravanning trips both to a farm and the beaches of west Sussex with nanny and grandad. Her stories would always include the cousins and adventures they were having with pets, school days and family. Sue Scott retired from a twenty year varied and exciting teaching career when she became a grandmother herself. She knew she wanted to share stories of her own with her grandchildren, who at the time of putting pen to paper were three and one years old.
