Sue GreerAn American and a member of the Bahá'í Faith, Sue- Greer, lived in Swaziland from 1970 to 1974 and in the Transkei, in South Africa from 1978 to 1986. She travelled and supported the growth of the South African Bahá'ís community at the height of the partheid era. Sue taught middle school in both countries. In the Transkei she taught five classes with about fifty students in each class. Later, she worked at the University of the Transkei, Umtata, in the Chemistry Department. She found her stay so wonderful and enjoyable an experience that the only culture shock she suffered was on her return to the United States.
