Sudarsan PadmanabhanSudarsan Padmanabhan received his PhD from University of South Florida and worked at Kenyon College, Ohio, USA, before joining the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 2007. He specilizes in social and political philosophy, and Indian philosophy and culture. His research interest lies in the confluence of law, democracy, and ethics in the public sphere. He has published in these domains in various journals and edited volumes including the Routledge Handbook of Cosmopolitanism Studies.
