Prior to joining the Amity, he was associated with Vellore Institte of Technology - Andhra Pradesh, India, Aliah University Kolkata, India, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (formerly West Bengal University of Technology) Kolkata, India, Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar, Assam, India, Bengal College of Engineering and Technology Durgapur, India, and Kingstone Engineering College Kolkata, India. He has around 12 years of teaching and research experience. Dr. Tikadar completed his BE in Computer Science and Engineering from the University Institute of Technology - Burdwan University (UIT-BU), India, M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Specialized in Multimedia and Software Systems) form National Institute of Technical Teachers' Training and Research Kolkata (NITTTR Kolkata), India, and PhD in Computer Science and Engineering (Specialized in Human-Computer and Interaction) form Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati), India. He is currently an active researcher in the field of Human-Computer Interaction, particularly in Advanced Learning Technology, Affective Computing, AR-VR-MR, Brain-Computer Interaction, and Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary interactive sensitive system design.
