Steven KaySteve published his first novel, The Evergreen in red and white independently in early 2014. It was long-listed for the Historical Novel Society's 2015 Indie awards. It is based on the true story of Rabbi Howell, the first Romani footballer and his sruggles to do the right thing, constrained by the morals of a northern Victorian town and torn between two women. He has also indie-published three, out-of-print classics and a short story collection. He has recently set up an authors' network: www.sheffieldauthors.co.uk to support and showcase local authors, and is working on novels three and four and other publications-in between his 9 to 5 distraction from writing. www.1889books.co.uk, twitter: @SteveK1889, http: //stevek1889.blogspot.co.uk/ Read More Read Less
